永禄13年、金ヶ崎の戦いで敗れた織田信長の首を狙い、今川軍残党の蒲原たちは廃村で信長を待ち受けていた。やがて家臣たちが次々と信長を捕らえたと戻り、蒲原の前に3人の“信長”が並べられる。万が一、影武者の首を討ち取っては今川家は天下の笑い者。蒲原は3人のうち2人は影武者に違いないと踏み、あの手この手を使って本物をあぶりだそうとする。だが甲・乙・丙、3人の信長はいずれも自分こそが本物だと譲らない。

Warlord Oda Nobunaga has lost the battle in sixteenth century Japan and is currently being pursued by Ujinori Kanbara who was Yoshimoto Imagawa's vassal. Yoshimoto was slayed by Nobunaga and the former vassal is burning with the fires of revenge. Yet, success is seemingly tripled when he captures not one but three Nobunagas. Each prisoner claims to be the warlord.
由于织田信长的属下杀死了今川义元，原今川军的蒲原氏德等人要为他复仇。当织田信长在金崎之战中败北逃亡时，他们潜入废弃村庄，企图取得信长的首级，而此时却有三个人都说自己才是信长。如果杀错了人今川家岂不被人耻笑，于是他们只能努力分辨哪一个是本尊 。
En 1570, après avoir perdu la guerre, Nobunaga Oda est poursuivi par Ujinori Kanbara, le vassal de Yoshimoto Imagawa. Yoshimoto Imagawa a été tué par Nobunaga Oda. Ujinori Kanbara brûle de se venger contre Nobunaga Oda et capture trois hommes. Chacun de ces trois hommes insiste pour incriminer Nobunaga Oda. Ujinori Kanbara tente de déterminer qui est le véritable Nobunaga Oda.
