Irlanda, 1920. Un medico che sta per partire per Londra, decide di partecipare alla resistenza contro l'occupazione britannica.

L'Irlande en 1920, Damien est sur le point de quitter sa patrie pour aller travailler dans un des plus réputés hôpitaux de Grande Bretagne. Hélas, son pays vit une période difficile puisqu'il est sous la domination des anglais qui ne se privent pas pour réprimer toute révolte. Excédé par la situation, son frère Teddy est bien décidé à faire regagner l'indépendance de son pays et c'est dans ce but qu'il réunit une troupe de paysans. Le combat ne fait que commencer.
