A lonely Polynesian in search of peace and solitude. He boards his canoe, provided only with his seafaring experience and a breadfruit tree, which he intends to plant when he finds the uninhabited island of his dreams. Along the way, he encounters great storms in the ocean, wild tribes on remote islands, and an expat European.
