小説家の白石理人が、やや風変わりな女性である本田沙紀と出会い、彼女に惹かれる。 白石は、咲の自殺未遂と日記を読んだことをきっかけに、彼らの出会いは偶然ではなかったことを認識している。 飛行機事故で結ばれ、やがて彼らは本当の自分と向き合い始め、お互いに影響を及ぼし合う。
