The Million Dollar Duck

Albert Dooley professzor laboratóriumában erős sugárzás ér egy kacsát. A professzornak megesik a szíve a kis állaton és hazaviszi a családjának; feleségének és fiuknak, Jimmy-nek. Mivel Jimmy nem tudja, hogy az új családtag a gyengébb nemhez tarozik, a Charley nevet adja a jószágnak. Charley jövetelének azonban nem mindenki örül egyformán. Albert szomszédai, Hooperék nem nézik jó szemmel, hogy Charley boldogan lubickol a medencéjükben, s kutyájuk is tesz arról, hogy megzavarja Charley zavartalan lubickolását. Amikor Charleyról kiderül, hogy lány-kacsa, Albert meg akar szabadulni a tojásaitól, mert attól tart, hogy azok is megfertőződtek. Ám hamar kiderül, hogy a tojások sárgája nem akármilyen fém, hanem bizony színarany. Albert másik szomszédja, Fred, az ügyvéd, hatalmas üzleti sikert remél és vállalja, hogy képviseli Dooley-ék érdekeit...

Professor Dooley takes home a duck from his research laboratory as a pet for his son, but soon finds out that it lays golden eggs.
