Until March 13, 2013, Jorge Mario Bergoglio, former Archbishop of Buenos Aires, was only one of the 180 cardinals in the hierarchy of the Catholic Church. Today, like Pope Francis, this priest with a missionary vocation has become the hope of the world Catholic community. He is the first "Francisco", the first Jesuit, and he is also the first non-European leader of the Catholic Church since 741. He is the first Latin American pope.
