已至暮年的阿根（狄龙 饰）患上了失智症，身为医师的阿根难以接受自己得病，逃避就医，因而跟女儿淑娴（吴天瑜 饰）起了冲突。淑娴不屈不挠地劝解，与 Sarah（陈沁霖 饰）费尽心思帮助阿根克服种种艰难，他渐渐拾起勇气面对病魔，也下定决心了却一桩心事。淑娴生日的那一天，阿根瞒着家人邀请了一个神秘人物到家里，给他们一家带来了另一场变化。
