Juan Pérez es un chileno común; Alguien que pasa desapercibido por su monótona vida, sobrevive deudas, su trabajo aplastante, salario mínimo y soledad. Hasta que un día, por suerte, evita un robo y los medios le otorgan el estatus de héroe. Esto dura 24 horas. Obligado a regresar a su rutina, Juan cae en una espiral de exceso y locura, y termina siendo lo contrario del héroe que quería ser.
