When Danny returns home from war he fins things unreal and his wife Laura distant. Hoping to reconnect he proposes a belated honeymoon at a bed and breakfast. Upon arriving he pursues her through the seemingly empty inn but soon Danny is preoccupied with ghostly things she cannot see. As he stumbles off after a comrade's ghost, Laura must decide if she will stay with this traumatized man she feels she no longer knows or leave.
