J. Gaven Wilde plays Moose in the 2021 horror film The Black Phone. In the film, Moose is a school bully who antagonizes another kid named Robin Arellano. Robin starts a fight with Moose, which is witnessed by the Blake siblings and some other students. Gwen later says that Moose deserved the fight because he had harmed Finney before.
