A gimnazista Timi, legnagyobb álma, hogy énekesnő lehessen. Brando, a barátja nem támogatja az ötletet, és kifejezetten ellenkezik, mikor feltűnik egy menedzser, aki felfedezi a lány nem mindennapi tehetségét. A fiú és a menedzser küzdelembe kezd: a fiú szerelmét akarja, a férfi pedig sztárt csinálni a lányból... Aki csak énekel, énekel, és dübörög a rock and roll.
