The Forty Four

Drama about the rebellion of the Trencín Infantry Regiment against its superior officers in the Serbian city of Kragujevac, at the end of the First World War. It was the biggest and deadliest rebellion in the Austro-Hungarian army.

Historické drama inspirované vzpourou převážně slovenských vojáků 71. pěšího pluku rakousko-uherské armády proti jejich velení v červnu roku 1918. Srbský Kragujevac se stal místem nelítostné armádní exekuce, ta ale ještě prohloubila individuální i kolektivní cestu obyčejných lidí k vědomí vlastní důstojnosti.(Letní filmová škola)
