Sylvia Cass is secretary to New York Almafi costume jeweler Mr. Clopperman, who dies in his office with a safe full of $964,000 in money from stolen jewelry. Sylvia and Clopperman’s salesman Bert Medwick split the money but are pursued by Clopperman’s underworld partners.
