Cows are just like people: they have social relationships, good and bad days, and a great sense of humor. The film is a witty look at some of New England proudest cattle owners doing their darndest to get their finest cattle ready for one of the United States most prestigious events. “Show Cattle” observes how they pamper, train and prepare as they go head to head for the honor of being supreme grand champion. It takes viewers into the world of the bovine makeover, revealing how pride and determination, not to mention steel-capped boots, can transform a barnyard cow into a national celebrity.
