In a remote and nameless Australian wilderness, Squeaker is a hillbilly woodcutter. His mate (wife) does all the work whilst he reclines under a tree. She is his slave in every sense, until one day her legs are crushed by a falling tree and she is now useless. Encaged and fed like an animal, Squeaker brings a new woman into camp. What ensues is his efforts to enslave his new mate, the mutual loathing of the two women and Squeaker's mate's revenge.
