After his serious heart operation, his worried sister Waltraud asks the successful entrepreneur to finally withdraw from active business life. Even his bustling nephew Marc can hardly wait for his uncle to hand over the management of the company to him - but he is not comfortable with this idea. When Marc wants to close an unprofitable chocolate factory in the Sauerland, Ernst becomes suspicious. The Patrizia-Werke were finally founded by Father Schmitt and form the nucleus of the global corporation.
