Le soir de Noël, dans un petit appartement qui leur sert de local, Pierre et Thérèse s'apprêtent à assurer la permanence de SOS-détresse-amitié. Ils reçoivent la visite de Josette, une jeune clocharde qui vient de quitter son ami Félix.
