Tony, la cinquantaine, chauffeur d’autobus scolaire renfermé sur lui-même, vit seul après avoir abandonné femme et enfant vingt ans plus tôt. Bousculé par un malaise cardiaque, il trouve le courage nécessaire pour affronter son passé et s’inscrire incognito dans le cours de danse dirigé par sa fille, qu’il n’a jamais connue, dans le but de la (re)conquérir et de donner un sens à sa vie.
Tony, in his 50s, a withdrawn school bus driver, lives alone after abandoning his wife and child twenty years earlier. Shaken by a heart attack, he finds the courage to face his past and enroll incognito in the dance class led by his daughter, whom he has never known, with the aim of (re) conquering her and give meaning to his life.
Tony ötvenes éveiben járó, zárkózott buszsofőr, aki már régóta egyedül él – szabadon, de magányosan. Már húsz éve, hogy elhagyta korábbi családját, feleségét és kislányát. Egy könnyebb szívroham után elég bátorságot talál magában arra, hogy szembenézzen a múltjával. Felveszi a kapcsolatot régi ismerőseivel, akikkel beszélgetve elhatározza, hogy a lányát is felkeresi, de nem fedi fel előtte kilétét. Táncórára jelentkezik hozzá abba a tánciskolába, ahol a lány, Maria nagy sikerrel tanít – Tonytól örökölt különleges tehetségének köszönhetően.
Depois de sofrer um ataque cardíaco, Tony decide enfrentar o seu passado e entrar em contacto com Maria, a filha que nunca conheceu. Disposto a tudo, inscreve-se na escola que esta dirige, para aprender a dançar rumba e recuperar o tempo perdido…
