R.O.D - Read or Die

Yomiko Readman is a lovable, near-sighted bibliomaniac working as a substitute teacher at a Japanese high school. Her real identity, however, is that of a secret agent for the British Library Special Operations Division. Her codename: "The Paper." The moniker denotes her supernatural ability to freely manipulate paper into any object she can imagine, including tools and weapons in her fight against the powerful and self-serving IJIN (Great Historical Figure) Army! Along with her partner, the enigmatic "Ms. Deep," Yomiko travels across the world in attempt to solve the mystery behind the reincarnation of historical figures and their attempt to control the world.

Yomiko Readman es una adorable bibliomaníaca miope que trabaja como profesora sustituta en un instituto japonés. Sin embargo, su verdadera identidad es la de una agente secreta de la División de Operaciones Especiales de la Biblioteca Británica. Su nombre en clave: «The Paper». El apodo denota su capacidad sobrenatural para manipular libremente el papel y convertirlo en cualquier objeto que pueda imaginar, incluidas herramientas y armas en su lucha contra el poderoso e interesado Ejército IJIN (Gran Figura Histórica). Junto a su compañera, la enigmática «Ms. Deep», Yomiko viaja por todo el mundo para intentar resolver el misterio que se esconde tras la reencarnación de las figuras históricas y su intento de controlar el mundo.
