This shows in a microcosm of one station area how the lineman was the first point of call when something was not working properly on the track of the London Underground. Set at West Ruislip in West London, it follows how an incident is temporarily fixed to allow trains to move again before a more permanent solution may be found. It provides an interesting historical perspective for something that would be managed quite differently nowadays.
