Ash es invitado al laboratorio del Doctor Yung para estrenar un nuevo sistema de batalla. Allí, los chicos se encuentran con Misty y el Profesor Oak y son atacados por el Maestro Espejismo.

Ash, Misty, and Professor Oak are invited to the mansion of Dr. Yung, a Pokémon scientist who has developed a machine to create Pokémon. However, he is kidnapped by a mysterious stranger who wishes to use the system to produce Pokémon with absolutely no weaknesses, and is enraged by the sudden presence of Mew.
Este especial foi criado em celebração do 10º aniversário do anime de Pokémon. Acontece durante a saga Batalha da Fronteira, quando Ash, May, Max, Brock, Misty e Prof. Carvalho recebem o convite do Prof. Yung para testemunhar a sua mais recente invenção, até que o Mestre Mirage apareça e cause o caos.
Esse especial foi criado em comemoração aos 10 anos do anime Pokémon. Ele se passa durante a saga Batalha da Fronteira, quando Ash, May, Max, Brock, Misty e Prof° Carvalho recebem o convite do Prof° Yung para presenciar sua mais nova invenção, até que o Mestre da Miragem aparece e causa o caos.
