In need of a job, Filippos, a perpetually broke young dreamer, is forced to put his wedding plans on hold. Then, accidentally, Filippos finds a leather briefcase crammed with cash belonging to the successful industrialist, Ploutidis. Now, even though he is stony-broke, impecunious but honest Filippos, and his fiancée, Anna, decide to hand over the bag to its owner, hoping that they will get a reward for their good deed. However, this is easier said than done, as a seemingly endless string of unexpected coincidences prevents the precious bag from changing hands.
