Cuando el pato Donald ingresa a la marina, decide enviar a sus sobrinos Hugo, Paco y Luis a vivir con su tio rico McPato. Aunque el viejo billonario esta de acuerdo, es frío, y quiere que ellos se mantengan alejados de sus negocios y que no estorben. Lo que cambia cuando los chicos descubren un modelo a escala de un barco que es en realidad el mapa de un fabuloso tesoro.
