夏休み明け、父親を亡くした孤独な少女・宮沢真理は、東京から新潟の山間部の高校に転校してくる。昔ながらの木造校舎や雄大な自然に癒やされた彼女はある日、数十年にわたり木造校舎をさまよう少女の精霊・岡部梨絵と出会う。真理と梨絵の奇妙な交流が続いていく中、真理のクラスメート中島は、真理の不思議な行動に不安を覚える。
