Having just settled in woodsy Vermont, Richard Newman (Richard Snee) and his much younger wife, Natalie (Natalie Picoe), realize that their marriage is at a turning point. As they spar over whether to have kids, the Newmans are preoccupied with the construction of a new house. When it proves to be a lot of work, Natalie asks local farmer George (George Lyford) to help out around the place. Like-minded souls, George and Natalie forge a bond that causes even more domestic complications.
