Moana, an adventurous Polynesian teenager inexplicably drawn to the ocean, sets out on a daring journey to save her island's people, reluctantly joined by once-mighty demigod Maui. Together, the two voyage across the open ocean on an action-packed adventure, encountering enormous monsters and impossible odds as Moana attempts to fulfill her quest to become a way-finder like her ancestors who sailed before her.
