看護学生の孫は、ひょんなことから田舎に住む祖父母に会いに行く。久しぶりの再会、家族水入らずで幸せな時間を過ごす。しかし、どこか違和感を覚える孫。祖父母の家には「何か」がいる。そしてある時から、人間の存在自体を揺るがすような根源的な恐怖が迫って来る…。
