Roaming the oceans in the prehistoric era, were sharks that reached 70 feet in length, with teeth the size of shovel blades. Imagine a great white as big as a plane and you've got it. Megalodon ate killer whales for lunch and were unquestionably the most awesome predator in the ocean for millennia. An eating machine with fins the size of sailboat sails that a whaler's harpoon would bounce off of like a toothpick.
