Der renommierte Arzt Prof. Markus Gärtner wird der neue Leiter des geplanten Herzforschungszentrum. Damit dem Spezialisten die Eingewöhnung an seinem neuen Wohnort so einfach wie möglich gestaltet wird, beauftragt Klinikchef Prof. Weissing eine Relocation-Agentur, die sich fortan um seine Wünsche und Belange kümmert. Obwohl sie mit Lina Baumann ihre beste Mitarbeiterin schickt, scheint sie an dem schroffen humorlosen Mediziner zu scheitern. Jede von ihr ausgesuchte Wohnung missfällt dem alleinstehenden Mediziner. Außerdem ist er von all den gemeinsamen Aktivitäten genervt. Er hat nur Arbeit im Kopf und möchte am liebsten sofort damit anfangen.

But then he is dependent on her help: The rich Mr. Hofmeister (Heinz Hoenig) wants to invest a considerable sum in the heart research center - until he meets Markus and immediately gets together with him. On the other hand, because of a misunderstanding, the millionaire considers Lina to be the mischievous doctor's partner. In order to win Hofmeister, Lina is said to spend a weekend as Markus' wife - a role-playing game that does not have consequences.
