Luke is discovered on a donkey. He learns by means of signs posted conspicuously that there's a certain Bad Man at large for whom a fat reward is offered. Luke, handling his shooting-irons gingerly, meets up with the wicked one who, thinking he is covered, points to the wide expanse of blue overhead. Luke changes clothes with him and rides into town on the blackleg's pony. He does some spectacular riding and erratic shooting until, chased by the mob, he takes refuge in a barn. "Behold the Indian" comes up behind him, pushes him off the loft, and Luke, hurtling through plenty of cubic feet, lands on the back of a bull. The ending is too funny for description, it must be seen to be appreciated.
