Cheesecago, años 30... La ciudad está dominada por los matones del gánster Al Catone, un malvado gato napolitano que se ha enriquecido con el contrabando del queso, tomando el control de la policía y la justicia. Solamente un grupo de valientes agentes liderados por Elliot Mouse osan hacer frente a los "catsters" e intentan parar los pies del malvado Alcatone.
