أسرة مكونة من أب يعمل عازف قانون، وابن طبال، وابنة راقصة، يعملون جميعًا في الصالة، لكن الابنة هي التي تسدد معظم نفقات المنزل، ويتعرف الابن على أحد الشباب من أسرة ثرية، والده محامِ مشهور، يقع صديق الابن في غرام أخته الراقصة، لتتصاعد الأحداث.
