Clara está a punto de mudarse a Londres con su hija Sophie y su novio Robert. Sin embargo, cuando Sophie y Ben se enamoran, los planes cambian.
Clara and Robert work together: Clara is auctioneer and Robert the technical director of an auction house.They are now preparing their move to London.But her daughter Sophie is reluctant to move to London. On the market Clara meets Mrs.Breitner who tells her that she has rented her chalet to a strange man.Clara and Robert talk about finding somebody who rent the chalet of the family.Clara and her daughter decide to go up to the chalet and inside their family chalet they meet a man called Benedikt who answers them that it's was Mr.Breitner's chalet.After some strong words all three spend the night in the same chalet because it's raining.Some days later Clara meets Sabine, the wife of the writer Markus who accuses Benedikt to be responsible of the death of her husband.Sophie is happy to go to the chalet because she is quite interested in the illustrations of Benedikt for the last book of his friend Markus.
