'Lien' is a character-based comedy about Marvin, a lowly debt collector with a bad attitude and not much going for him. Marvin is out making his rounds and sets his sights on his next target, Teddy Larson. Teddy is a slippery and very talkative gambler who has a weakness for reality TV and an answer for everything. Teddy takes Marvin on a small scavenger hunt to get him all he owes and seems set on driving Marvin mad in the process.
