(سعيد) شاب عاطل يتعرف بالفتاة (سمية) ويريد أن يتزوجها ولكن والدها يرفض لفقره، يموت عم سعيد ويترك له ثروة طائلة ولكن يتضح أن سعيد ليس الوارث الوحيد بل هناك زوجة وطفلة، تصر سمية على الزواج من سعيد، ليوافق والدها وتتصاعد الأحداث.
