Jacqueline et Richard, un couple d’octogénaires, se rendent à l’hôtel où ils ont passé il y a soixante-cinq ans leur première nuit d’amour. Ils retrouvent dans cette même chambre les souvenirs du passé en parcourant la vie d’amour qu’ils ont partagée. Peu à peu, nous comprenons quel est le véritable projet de ce pèlerinage. Face à la maladie qui gagne inlassablement du terrain, ils ont décidé de ne pas se quitter et de partir ensemble, dans la dignité.
