Une femme tres belle s'eprend d'un tenor qui lui donne des lecons de chant. Le soir ou pour la premiere fois elle doit paraitre en public, le tenor est appele dans son pays ou sa fillette vient de mourir noyee. Il perd la voix et la raison. La jeune femme le retrouve un jour, mourant.

A very beautiful woman falls in love with a tenor who gives her singing lessons. The evening or for the first time she is to appear in public, the tenor is called in his country where his little girl has just drowned. He loses his voice and his sanity. The young woman finds him one day, dying.
