Raphaele André est une brillante avocate a qui tout reussit. Jusqu'au jour où la mort énigmatique de son mari l'entraine dans une enquête où elle fait progressivement la découverte d'un autre homme que celle qu'elle croyait connaître...

Raphaële is a gifted young lawyer who can seem to do no wrong until the day her husband dies in mysterious circumstances. She begins to investigate the tragedy, only to discover a man she never knew. He had quit his job and was planning to buy a riverside cafe with his mistress. Raphaële sinks deeper into melancholic soul-searching. In the eyes of her entourage, she comes to see an unpleasant reflection of herself, narcissistic, self-centered, mendacious.
