حسن شاب تخرج حديثًا من كلية التجارة، يعمل مع عمه أمين بك في مكتب للأوراق المالية، يحب حسن ابنة عمه سميرة ويعدهما العم بالزواج، إلا أن قمر وهى فتاة قبيحة تحب حسن وتقرر أن تتزوجه، يطلب أمين من حسن أن يتزوج قمر، ينصب أمين على الناس بقصد الصرف على عشيقته الراقصة.
