The story is, basically, about a world-famous writer, Sigmund Hermann, lives with his wife, Jackqueline in the isolated area. His fan, Karl Harvey, comes to visit his house one cold winter night. At first he pushes him out in the cold but through his persistence the writer reluctantly lets him in. This visit sparks a story for the author who has struggle a writing block and leads to a mysterious affair.
