A detective film created in the spirit of the French New Wave. Johnny Mac goes against his instincts in accepting a stalker case from a waitress in a desperate situation. Johnny Mac follows the suspected stalker, a skateboarding punk, who leads him into a maze of deception on a college campus. The tables slowly turn when the stalker is found to be the point man for a college gambling ring paying off a football player to throw the national championship. As authorities close in Johnny Mac is left holding the bag.
