An orphaned young woman is hired to serve as a governess at Thornfield, an English manor lorded over by the strict Edward Rochester. When sinister things begin to occur around the manor, Jane and the temperamental Rochester come to cherish their time together. However, as they begin to fall in love Rochester has yet to inform his bride-to-be about a certain matter. And when his secret emerges, Jane must face an enormous challenge.
