An American troupe, together with a young actor from New York, arrives in Italy to try to reconstruct the journey of the famous American writer H.P. Lovecraft, although it is said that he never left the United States. After several misadventures, the survivors of the group manage to find evidence of the writer's journey. The film is structured like the backstage of the documentary H.P. Lovecraft - Hypothesis of a trip to Italy.
