I Core sono una famiglia particolare: Christian é stato campione del mondo di boulder, Stella campionessa italiana, da poco più di un anno sono diventati genitori di due gemelle. La loro storia é legata ai boschi che sovrastano Varazze. La storia dei Core parte da lontano, quando da ragazzi si approcciavano al mondo dell'arrampicata e delle competizioni. Immersi costantemente nella magia dei boschi del monte Beigua e con la costa frastagliata all'orizzonte, Christian ci guida nel suo percorso interiore e sportivo, ci racconta le difficoltà e le rinunce per riuscire a diventare il primo campione del mondo, facendoci scoprire questa realtà fatta di roccia, sudore e magnesite.
Les Core sont une famille très spéciale. Christian, le père, a été champion du monde d'escalade et sa femme, Stella, championne d'Italie. Devenus parents des petites Lara et Ania, ce couple d'amoureux de la grimpe n'a pas dit adieu pour autant à son sport de prédilection ! Leur histoire est inextricablement liée à celle de la forêt surplombant Varraze, en Italie. En compagnie de grimpeurs du coin, ils ont découvert bon nombre de parois rocheuses, dont l'ascension est de plus en plus difficile. Ils ont rendu le lieu célèbre de par le monde , en particulier un bloc de roche réputé pour être le plus ardu à escalader, qu'ils ont nommé Gioia et dont Christian se lance à l'assaut...
The Cores are a very special family. Christian was world champion in bouldering, Stella was Italian champion, and just over a year ago they became parents of twins, Lara and Ania. They live in a valley not far from Savona, Italy, but their story is inextricably linked to the woods overlooking Varazze. With other climbers from the area, they have sought, found and cleaned rocks to climb with more and more extreme difficulty, bringing to light a climbing spot now famous all over the world.
