Der Tierarzt Hansi Riedlinger ist vor vielen Jahren nach Australien ausgewandert. Auf Bitten seiner Mutter kehrt er nun ins Kaisertal zurück, um seinem Vater Johann unter die Arme zu greifen. Nach einer kostspieligen Renovierung seines Gestüts ist er in finanzielle Schwierigkeiten geraten. Es droht der Verlust des Hofes, denn früher als abgemacht, fordert Bürgermeister Ludwig Hackl sein Darlehen zurück.

Veterinarian Hansi Riedlinger emigrated to Australia many years ago. At the request of his mother Marianne, he is now returning to Kaisertal to give his father Johann a hand.
