عادل طيار ويحب فتاة اسمها منى، ويحاول شكري صديق العائلة التقرب والتودد لمنى، ولكنها تصده، يطلب عادل من منى أنه يريد خطبتها عند عودته من رحلته، ويعود وتأتي المضيفة صديقة عادل له في المنزل وتصارحه بحبها له ويصدها عادل، وفي الطريق يقع حادث لهما ويدخلا المستشفى، وعند تأخر عادل يتقدم شكري لمنى ويتزوجها.
