Goodbye, Dragon Inn

　　天下没有不散的宴席。然而主人的魅力以及客人心的属性，却可左右宴席的长短、有无。老电影院里，跛脚售票员（陈湘琪）虽有心设宴，年轻的放映员（李康生）却无心做客；电影《龙门客栈》里的剑客（石隽）在自己的旧影像里沉醉落泪，时间却早已无情的将其抛在身后；日本男子如幽灵般找寻着，然而并没同性想在他身边作长久的停留。 　　即使电影院早已不见昔日的繁华，变得安静异常，却仍不能与家（哪怕旅馆）的功用相提并论。出入其间的，是或多或少想将自己在黑暗中隐藏封闭的人，他们有着天真而诡异的想法，可是时间是最靠不住的（人老会死，电影院老会被拆），相信它只会换来更多伤心。

낡고 오래된 복화극장은 내일이면 문을 닫을 예정이며, 그 마지막 상영작으로 호금전 감독의 을 상영하고 있다. 쏟아지는 폭우를 뚫고 극장에 모인 관객 중에는 동성애 파트너를 찾는 젊은 일본 남자, 야한 옷차림으로 연신 피스타치오를 까먹는 젊은 여자, 그리고 손자의 손을 잡고 온 노인 마오티엔이 있다. 은 이 노인의 배우 데뷔작이었지만 극장의 다른 이들은 그 사정을 알 리 없다. 사람인지 유령인지 알 수 없는 이들이 객석과 복도, 화장실을 떠도는 가운데 그 동안 이 극장을 지켜온 두 사람, 다리를 저는 여자 매표원과 젊은 영사기사 역시 마지막까지 서로를 스쳐갈 뿐이다.

Throughout the film, the ticket woman tries to find the projectionist, searching for him in order to present him with a steamed bun. She wears an iron brace on her leg. She walks around the theater throughout the film, struggling up and down stairs. A young Japanese tourist wanders around the cinema in search of a homosexual encounter. En una sala de cine que ha perdido la gloria del pasado se proyecta por última vez Dragon Inn, el film de culto de King Hu. Un extranjero solitario llega a tiempo para la última proyección en un recinto prácticamente vacío donde transitan sombras y fantasmas que se encuentran detrás del proyector. ¿Dónde están los espectadores que antes llenaban este cine?

Dernière séance avant que cette salle de cinéma ferme ses portes pour toujours. Un jeune homme d'origine japonaise entre à l'intérieur du cinéma pour se protéger de la pluie. L'ouvreuse infirme et le projectionniste n'ont jamais eu l'occasion de se rencontrer bien qu'ils travaillent tous les deux dans le même cinéma. Puisque cette nuit est leur dernière chance, la jeune femme a envie de partager son fortune cake avec le beau projectionniste. Mais quand elle se rend dans la cabine de projection, il n'est pas là. Elle refuse de quitter cet endroit avant de l'avoir revu. Elle se met alors à sa recherche dans le dédale du cinéma. Sur l'écran géant passe Dragon inn, un film d'épée chinois à succès des années 60. L'homme japonais remarque deux individus dans la salle qui ressemblent aux acteurs du film. Plus âgés, assis dans ce cinéma vide, ils regardent et se remémorent...
