يربط الحب بين أحمد ومنى، منذ كانا طفلان في مرسى مطروح، يتقدم أحمد لخطبة منى، فيرفض والدها الزواج، لرغبته في تزويجها بأخر، تحاول منى اللحاق بأحمد لكنه يسافر إلى الخارج، ويتزوج بأخرى وينجب طفلان، لكنه يقابل منى ثانية ويتزوجان بالرغم من حياته الجديدة.
