Luke de Fluke, a clerk in a shoe store, has a hard time to wait on any men customers when there are female buyers in the place. This, of course, hurts the business and the manager of the place remonstrates with Luke, but to no avail. Finally however, he runs afoul or Joe, the shoe repairer in the store. Entering his domain in the rear of the place, Luke insults him and rouses his ire. Joe, a swarthy son of Italy, runs to a neighboring explosive factory, returning with one of their latest models and choicest high powered bombs. This he hurls in the general direction of Luke, and makes a wreck of the place. Hundreds of boxes filled with the latest in vici kids, patent leathers and "trick" shoes come tumbling down from the shelves and the last thing we see of Luke are his number tens sticking out of the pile of debris.
