Fractured Land

Fractured Land is a coming of age story about a young Aboriginal leader and lawyer, Caleb Behn. His territory is at the epicenter of some of the largest fracking operations on earth. The film follows Caleb as he tries to reconcile the fractures within himself, his community and the world around him, blending modern tools of law with ancient wisdom. As 350.org founder, Bill McKibben, puts it, 'Anyone who can throw a hatchet and sue you is a force to be reckoned with.' But first, Caleb must find peace within himself, and reconcile the fractures within his own heart. Fractured Land provides a powerful Indigenous point of view, about the true complexities of hydrocarbon development, the significance of trust, and the power of vulnerability.
